Yayasan Karya Salemba Empat was established in 1998. The founders of the foundation includes Satriadi Indramawan, Rizal Bambang Prasetijo, Basya Giawarman Himawan, Mirza Adityaswara, Laksono Widito Widodo, Salustra Satria, Robert Tumiwa, Bramantyo Ajie, Harumi Cempaka Sudjoko, Yasmine Nora Nasution, and Tatan Ahmad Taufik.

Mirza Adityaswara
Founder and Chairman of KSE Foundation 2000-2002 and Board of Supervisors (2002-2004). Employed as Director of Equity Research, Credit Suisse Indonesia. Previously worked with Bahana Securities (2003-2005), Indosuez WI Carr Securities (1998-2001), Deutsche Morgan Grenfell Securities (1997), BZW Niaga Securities (1995-1997) and Sumitomo Niaga Bank (1989-1993). Obtained Master of Applied Finance from Macquarie University, Australia in 1994 and graduated from Faculty of Economics, University of Indonesia.
Rizal B Prasetijo
Mr. Prasetijo is one of JPMorgan Asia Pacific Equity Research Managing Directors. He has covered the Indonesian equity market since he joined the JPMorgan Securities' predecessor firm, Jardine Fleming, in late 1989 as well as covering the Thai and Philippines equity markets during the 1999-2001 period. Mr. Prasetijo holds a BSc in Economics from the University of Indonesia and is one of KSE's founders. He strongly believes that the education will open window of opportunities for the "have-nots" to participate in the nation building. In addition to his activities in JPMorgan and KSE, Mr. Prasetijo is also an audiophilist, mainly listening to the classical, 60s jazz, 70s progressive and punk rock music.
F Chapman Taylor
Vice President of Capital International, Inc. and Senior Vice President of Capital International Research, Inc. with research responsibilities for telecommunication companies in the emerging Asian markets and Indonesia as a country generalist. Also serves on several not-for-profit boards, including For Love of Children (focusing on at-risk children in Washington DC), L'Arche (focusing on developmentally disabled adults) and Dulin United Methodist Church. Mr Taylor is married, has three children and lives in the Washington DC area.
Laksono Widodo
Founder and Chairman of KSE Foundation 2002-2004, Employed by PT Mandiri Sekuritas as a Director head of Equities. Previously worked for ING Securities (then Baring Securities) and Macquarie Securities as Head of Research. Obtained Master of Business Administration from the university of Hawaii in 1992 and graduated from the Faculty of Economics, University of Indonesia in 1989.

Satriadi Indarmawan
Founder and Chairman of KSE foundation, 1998-2000. He is a General Manager of Bakrie Construction. Currently among the staff teaching at STIE PERBANAS. Previously worked with BPPN/IBRA (Indonesian Banking & Restructuring Agency) 2000-2004, Bank Bumiputera Indonesia, PT (1995-2000), Indovest Bank (1995), and IBM Indonesia (1990-1995). Obtained Master of Applied Finance, Macquarie University, Australia in 1995 and graduated from Faculty of Economics, University of Indonesia.
Yasmine Nasution
Teaching Staff Faculty of Economics, University of Indonesia 1995-2000, and Consultant in Management Institute Faculty of Economics University of Indonesia (Lembaga Management FEUI) since 1997. Graduated from Faculty of Economics, University of Indonesia in 1996 and Melbourne University with Master of Applied Commerce in 2003. Previously served as 1st Treasurer of Yayasan Karya Salemba Empat.
Tatan A Taufik
Serving as the Director of Global Financial Markets/Country Treasurer for American Express Bank Ltd since May 2005. Previous employment includes serving as Vice President Indonesia Treasury Funding JP Morgan Chase Bank. Tatan holds a Bachelor Degree in Economics from Universitas Indonesia.
Harumi C Sudjoko
Deputy Head, KS4 Foundation 2000-2002. Currently employed with PricewaterhouseCoopers, Finance Services Industry Practice (Advisory), Singapore. Graduated from Faculty of Economics, University of Indonesia in 1996 and obtained Master of Business Administration from University of Chicago Graduate School of Business in 2007

Budi Unggul Wibowo | Vice Chief Executive
Began active involvement within the foundation in 2002, he is now an independent member of risk and audit committee, Bank DBS Indonesia. He previously worked at GE Finance Indonesia as Legal Director, after stints as a private practice lawyer and in-house legal counsel for foreign banks. Graduated from Faculty of Laws, University of Indonesia in 1994.

Employed at Sun Life Financial as Head of Investments. Previous working experience at Manulife Financial (2003-2006). Master of Finance University of Houston, ClearLake, 1998. Graduated from Faculty of Economics, University of Indonesia in 1996.
Ahmad Solihin
Currently employed at CLSA as Research Analyst. Previously worked as Analyst at PT Mandiri Sekuritas and Macquarie Securities. Obtained Master in Financial Economics from Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, Belgium in 2000. Graduated from the Faculty of Economics, University of Indonesia in 1997.

Currently employed as Head of Research at ABN AMRO Asia Securities Indonesia. Previously worked for First State Investments, PT as Head of Investments (2004-2007) and Bahana TCW Investments Management, PT (2000-2004) and The Chase Manhattan Bank (1998-2000). Obtained MSc and BSc Economics degrees from The London School of Economics.
